Our Boise premiere screening event for Bluebird Man will be June 13th at 8pm at the Boise Centre downtown. Join the facebook event and invite your friends!
This will be an ALL AGES event with a suggested donation of $5. This $5 donation will buy you a raffle ticket with a chance to win a trip out on the Bluebird Trail with Al Larson! Bluebird Man DVDs and t-shirts will be given away as raffle prizes as well.
The screening will be followed by a Q&A session with North American Bluebird Society president Sherry Linn, filmmaker Matthew Podolsky, and Bluebird Man Al Larson himself!
In addition to screening Bluebird Man, we will be premiering two new short films which will screen prior to Bluebird Man. Boise’s GK-12 Program: Scientists Inspiring Students and the Community (5 min.) highlights this unique and effective education program which pairs BSU graduate students with local learning centers in Boise to increase math and science literacy. Guarding Nestboxes Against Predators (7 min.) profiles bluebird expert Kevin Berner and his efforts to reduce predation on the bluebird trails that he manages in Upstate New York.
